Dreamcatching
Anijam 2024 “liminal spaces” I won that year! This is based on the most liminal space I could think of. I used to have a reoccurring dream where I would find a box connected to two pipes in the basement of my grandma’s house. I saw a small door in it, but whenever I tried to open it, I would wake up. My idea for this animation was to create a world where I could be conscious in my dreams and figure out how to open the door. Unfortunately, there are agents who keep me from knowing the truth. It’s very clear I like The Matrix.
